What is the difference between HALLS* and HALLS Centres* products?

Both products contain menthol and eucalyptus oil, which goes to work quickly to fight coughs, soothe sore throats and make nasal passages feel cooler. HALLS Centres drops also have a liquid center with cooling menthol, that coats and soothes a sore throat and provides cough relief.

What are HALLS Breezers* drops?

HALLS Breezers are great tasting candy drops that provide a delicious soothing taste for your everyday needs.

What is the shelf life of HALLS* Mentho-Lyptus* and HALLS Vitamin C* products? How do I tell if these are still good?

HALLS products have a shelf life of 2 years. Please refer to the box on the back of your HALLS package for the "Best if Used By" date.

How many HALLS* drops can I take? What is the recommended dose?

Halls Mentho-Lyptus (except Kiwi-Apple) and Halls Centres: For adults and children 5 years and over, dissolve 1 tablet slowly in the mouth as required.

Halls Mentho-Lyptus Kiwi-Apple and Halls Centres Icy: For adults and children 5 years and over, dissolve 2 tablets slowly in the mouth, one at a time.  Use as required.

Halls Vitamin C: Adults and children over 6 years of age: Dissolve one drop slowly in mouth. Maximum 2 drops per day.

Halls Refresh: No recommended dose for Halls Refresh drops

Halls Breezers: No recommended dose for Halls Breezers drops

Are HALLS* products recommended for children?

HALLS products are intended for use by children 5 years and over (except Halls Vitamin C lozenges, which are intended for use by children over 6 years of age). For children under this age, consult your doctor.

What is Menthol?

Menthol is an active ingredient in Halls Mentho-Lyptus and Halls Centres products.  When used as directed, menthol works as a topical anaesthetic for relief of sore throats.
